The items in a menu are sorted alphabetically by default. You can exclude menu levels by entering the parent menuID numbers. - Open the menu using the edit link from the front end or in the administration area select the Menus main navigation link and select the correct menu. Once that menu is open you can easily find the module you want to edit use the "Matching Modules" drop down list, select the module you want to edit and click go.
- Alternatly goto the Extensions->Module Manager and then select the menu module you are going to edit.
Once you have the correct menu module follow these steps in the parameters section. - Select the "Order by on save" column.
- Select the direction.
- Exclude the parent numbers using a comma seperated list. Those parents will not be sorted alphabetically but will use the manually entered order you select.
